National Security Service announced Friday seizing 20 kilograms of explosive materials north of Baghdad.
A statement by the Security Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "based on intelligence information and employing field sources, the National Security Service detachments in Baghdad, managed to seize a stockpile of equipment in one of the orchards of Tarmiyah district," noting that "the stockpiled It contains (20) kilograms of (C4), and (3) mortar rockets with a detonator and a BKC container.
The statement indicated that "the explosive materials were lifted and handed over to the engineering effort.”
