The spokesman for the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, revealed today, Thursday, an Iraqi role in the operation to kill ISIS terrorist leader Abdullah Qardash.
Major General Rasool said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the operation to kill the terrorist Amir Muhammad Saeed, nicknamed Abu Abdullah Qardash, was carried out after the Iraqi National Intelligence Service provided the international coalition with accurate information that led to his location and killing.".
He added: "May God bless the brave men of Iraq and have mercy on our righteous martyrs.".
Earlier today, the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, expressed his blessing for every effort that contributed to the security achievement that culminated in the killing of ISIS terrorist leader Abdullah Qardash.
Al-Araji said, in a tweet to him on the Twitter platform, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the killing of the terrorist leader of ISIS, "Abdullah Al-Qardash", represents the will of good in the face of evil from the oddities of prospects and those who threaten the entire world peace."
