The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced Today, Saturday, capturing a terrorist cell collecting royalties for Daesh, west of Nineveh.
"The detachments of the National Security Service (NSS) in western Nineveh province, after obtaining all the legal approvals, were able to set up a tight ambush that resulted in the arrest of a cell of four terrorists who are forcing citizens to pay money to finance ISIS gangs and their terrorist operations," SMC said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He added, "The statements of the accused were duly written down after they confessed to threatening and intimidating many citizens, taking money from them by force, the accused were referred the competent judicial authorities, to take all the necessary legal measures against them."
