Al-Sadr calls for strengthening the Iraqi army capabilities

    The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on the government to strengthen the capabilities of the Iraqi army.

    "The government should strengthen the capabilities of the Iraqi army, which bears the responsibility to protect Iraq and the people, so that it does not fail to do so," said Al-Sadr in a tweet on his official Twitter account, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
