New Joint Security Operation Launched South of Salah Al-Din

    The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced today, Thursday, the launch of a joint security operation south of Salah al-Din province.
     
    PMF said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "A joint force from the 1st Brigade in the PMF and the Army, has started a raid and search operation in the south of Salah al-Din province."
     
    The statement added, "The operation was carried out in Yathrib district, south of the province, aims to secure it from ISIS terrorist remnants and to pursue wanted ISIS suspects to bring them to justice."
