The Ministries of Defense and the Peshmerga discussed on Sunday ways to exchange and develop scientific information on the curriculum and conduct joint exercises between the two sides.
"Defense Minister Juma Anad Saadoun received in his office at the ministry's headquarters a delegation from the Peshmerga Ministry in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Staff," the ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"During the meeting, they discussed ways to exchange and develop scientific information on the curriculum and conduct joint exercises between the army and peshmerga forces," the statement said.
"The Peshmerga delegation will visit the Army Chief of Staff and the Army Chief of Staff's Assistant for Training, the Defense University for Military Studies, the Staff and Command Colleges of the Ministry of Defense," he said.
