Our national junior team will play its second match in the first group of the West Asian Junior Championship held in Saudi Arabia at 6:45 pm today, Thursday, at Fahd bin Salman Stadium in Al-Nahda Club.
Our team must achieve the result of a win or a tie in order to ensure the leadership of the first group and to ensure its qualification to the semi-finals of the competition without entering into complicated calculations.
The assistant coach of the junior national team, Saad Abdel Hamid, said: "Our players are fully prepared for this match, especially as it is against a strong and organized team, but we are determined to acheive the three points of the match and qualify for the next round."
The junior team leads its group with three points and a difference of goals from its opponent, after defeating its Lebanese counterpart by three clean points in its first match, while the Saudi team beat Lebanon with two goals to one.
