The intelligence agency announced Thursday, that it had thwarted an attempt to target logistical support convoys in Babylon.
A statement of the Security Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "through field follow-up and intensification of intelligence efforts, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior in Babylon Governorate, and during the ongoing field survey, managed to thwart an attempt to target logistical support with three explosive devices, two of them is on the highway near Bridge Zero, and the third is near Bridge 13.
He added, "All the explosives were detonated on the spot by the explosives expert."
