SMC: The thwarting of an attempt to target a convoy of logistical support in Diwaniyah

The Security Media Cell announced that it had thwarted an attempt to target a convoy of logistical support with an explosive device in Diwaniyah.
The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "through field follow-up and intensification of intelligence efforts, Diwaniyah Governorate Police Directorate was able to thwart an attempt to target one of the logistical support with an explosive device on the highway."
The cell added, "It was detonated by anti-explosives experts, without significant losses."
