The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called today, Thursday, for the Lebanese parties to leave differences and exercise restraint.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him on his Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "To the brothers in the Amal Movement and Hezbollah, you are lovers of the homeland, and you are qualified to preserve civil peace, because Lebanon is more valuable than all interests."
He added: "All the Lebanese sects are our brothers and your brothers. Everyone should leave the differences and leave the internal fighting, as this is a weakness of the national class and a strength of colonialism, which is waiting for you in circles and wants you to do evil."
Al-Sadr concluded by saying: "You have to exercise restraint and have the love of the country so that the Lord of the servants is satisfied with us and you."
