The media reported that the "Taliban" movement changed the name of Hamid Karzai International Airport in the capital, Kabul.
The Russian "Novosti" agency quoted a source in the Taliban's cultural committee as saying that the movement decided to delete the name of the former president from the name of the main airport in the country.
The source also indicated that the "Taliban" also changed the name of a square that was named in honor of the deceased Afghan leader Ahmed Shah Massoud, whose son Ahmed Masoud is now leading the anti-movement resistance forces in the state of Panjshir.
