The Iraqi champion in the Kyokushinkai game, Mustafa Muhammad Waheeb, appealed to government agencies to support the game federation to participate in the World Championships that will be held in Poland, after Iraq's participation in it has become threatened due to the lack of financial allocation and the absence of support.

Wahib said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the financial situation that the Game Association is going through has become a threat to all important external participations that are threatened with cancellation, in addition to the limited activity inside Iraq as it is being self-financed and from the players' own account. He indicated, "The Game Federation has suffered for more than two years from the financial crisis, and no one has paid attention to this suffering, despite the continuous appeals and many promises by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which have not seen the light until this hour."

Waheeb added that "the World Championship is the most important tournament at the level of the game, in which the best world champions from all countries participate, and it is a good opportunity for the heroes of Iraq to prove their presence among these great statures, in addition to the technical benefit they bring and to see the latest developments of the game globally," pointing out, He pointed out that "the Federation has a close entitlement to the Arab Championship, which will be held in Lebanon at the end of this year, and the other is threatened for the same reason, after Iraq was one of the competing countries in this championship."

In conclusion, the hero, Mustafa Muhammad Wahib, appealed to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to pay attention to his sons among the athletes in general, and the Kyokushinkai Federation in particular, and to intervene quickly to save the game and preserve Iraq’s place among the countries with achievement, through the participation of its heroes in their entitlements and raising the flag of Iraq high in international forums.
