Basra Operations to enhance the security of the Great Port of Faw

    The Commander of Basra Operations, Major General Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Majidi, directed, today, Sunday, to strengthen the security situation of the great port of Faw.  

    A statement by the leadership, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the commander of Basra operations, Major General Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Majidi, visited the port of Al-Faw and was briefed on the most important vital facilities and infrastructure, the percentage of completion and what the port constitutes of a major economic boom for Iraq and the Iraqis.".
