IHEC: We have completed all preparations for October elections

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Jalil Adnan Khalaf, confirmed that all the preparations for holding the elections have been completed on time.
Khalaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that IHEC had completed all the technical and legal sides requirements that would enable it to hold the elections in its specified time, stressing that there is complete readiness to hold the upcoming parliamentary elections in the date of October 10, 2021.
