The "Taliban" movement announced that its forces had taken control of strategic facilities in the city of Bal Alam, the center of Lokar province, located in central Afghanistan, southeast of the capital, Kabul.
The spokesman for the "Taliban", Zabihullah Mujahid, stated on his account on "Twitter" today, Friday, that the militants of the movement seized the headquarters of the governor of the state and other important facilities in the city, noting that the governor of Loker, Abdul Qayyum Rahimi, and his team members joined the movement.
The spokesman pointed out that the "Taliban" forces are currently storming the sites that are still under the control of government forces in the city, including the intelligence headquarters and the special forces base.
