Spokesperson for the Commander in Chief, Major General Yahya Rasoul, identified today, Tuesday, the party responsible for the numbers of advisers remaining in Iraq, while indicating that the Iraqi security forces will provide protection for them.
Rasool said: that "the first batch of the international coalition forces withdrew outside Iraqi territory towards the Bole base in Kuwait," noting that "the withdrawal process will continue in the coming days until the end of all the forces assigned to fight."
He added, "The rest of the advisers will work within military bases," explaining that "the Iraqi security forces will provide protection for them."
Rasool stressed that "the number of advisers will be determined by the military leadership as needed, or by the technical committee that discussed the outcomes of the strategic dialogue."
