Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim discussed with US Ambassador Matthew Tueller the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between Iraq and US.
Al-Hakim and Tueller discussed the developments of the political situation in Iraq and the region, as well as the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between Iraq and US in terms of bilateral relations, according to s statement by Al-Hakim's media office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
“The importance of these relations is to serve the interests of two countries, and the need to proceed with the adoption of dialogue as a way to resolve differences and spare the region the repercussions of tensions and conflicts between its countries," said Al-Hakim, welcoming "the outcomes of Iraq- US strategic dialogue between,”
He stressed, "the importance of adhering to it and working to implement the terms of the strategic dialogue in a transparent manner, most notably the withdrawal of combat forces from Iraq at the end of this year and maintaining cooperation in the field of training, advice, intelligence and technical cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the economic, service, humanitarian, scientific and political aspects included in the agreement,”
