Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi met with Jordanian Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh.
The media office of Parliament Speaker said in a statement, that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi and his accompanying delegation met Jordanian Prime Minister Bishr al-Khasawneh," noting that "the meeting discussed bilateral cooperation and coordination in the economic and investment fields, the importance of overcoming obstacles and expedite the implementation of strategic projects such as industrial cities, power projects, electrical interconnection and other projects in accordance with bilateral agreements.
Al-Halbousi stressed during the meeting, according to the statement, that "the legislative authority in Iraq supports the outcomes of the tripartite summit and the consolidation of bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the interest of the two brotherly peoples," praising "King Abdullah II's positions in support of Iraq and, regional and international role."
