The parliament Speaker, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, and the Speaker of the Jordanian Senate, Faisal Akef Al-Fayez, stressed today, Tuesday, the importance of increasing joint cooperation between Iraq and Jordan.
Al-Halbousi and his accompanying delegation held talks at the headquarters of the Jordanian Senate on bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of increasing joint cooperation, especially in the political and economic fields, enhancing joint investments, and activating bilateral agreements, as well as emphasizing the need to maintain coordination and consultation between Iraq and Jordan in all fields and at the level of brotherly relations between the two countries.
The talks stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations, and working to unify positions on various issues of common concern in various international parliamentary forums."
