Nadhim: Iraq sees the need for US combat forces is no longer there

Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nadhim confirmed on Monday, that US combat forces withdrawal will not go beyond its framework this year.

"Iraq needs American assistance in the field of information and intelligence advisory," he added.

It is hoped that PM Al-Kadhimi, during his visit to Washington and his meeting with US President Joe Biden, will discuss the file of scheduling the withdrawal of US combat forces from Iraq.
