Iraqi Forces Launch a Security Operation within Salah Al-Din Ops Sector

The Security Media Cell announced on Monday, the launch of a new security operation within the Salah al-Din Ops Sector.
 
SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, new security operation was launched this morning, within Salah al-Din Ops Sector, in which the 23rd Commando Brigade and the 88th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization forces (PMF), as well as the 91st Brigade of the Iraqi Army and the Oil Protection Regiment in Salah al-Din province participated in.
 
 
SMC added that this operation comes to enhance security and stability, pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, and to clear the areas within the range of Hamrin mountain, Ajil, Alas and Makhoul fields, up to the border with the advanced headquarters in Kirkuk province.
