The Security Media Cell announced on Thursday, targeting the Green Zone in Baghdad by three Katyusha rockets.
In a statement received by the Iraqi news agency (INA), SMC stated that at 200 hours an outlaw group targeted Baghdad's Green Zone with three Katyusha rockets, as the first one landed near the headquarters of the National Security Service (NSS), the second in the Grand Festivities Square, while the last one landed near the area of Sheikh Omar in a residential neighborhood, damaging the wheel of a citizen.
SMC said that such acts that do not want the good of this country, will be strongly confronted by the security services, affirming that the security forces will intensify its intelligence and field operations to captures those who have carried out such actions, which endanger the lives of citizens, as well as the as well as targeting foreign diplomatic missions.
