The Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, affirmed the ministry's support for all sports clubs from the far north to the south of Iraq within the powers he is entitled to.
A statement by the ministry of Youth and Sports that received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated today, Monday, that Darjal met with the delegations of the two administrative staff of Erbil clubs headed by Abdullah Majid and Al-Mina headed by Muhammad Jaber, at the Ministry's headquarters , to discuss number of issues, the most important of which is to improve the reality of the two clubs in particular and of the Premier League clubs in general, in addition to use all sports facilities to serve the clubs.
Clubs’ Public bodies have a significant role to play in the development and success of clubs by choosing the competent person, away from personal relationships and interests, which reflects a positive impact on the reality of Iraqi sport, affirming that the Ministry stands at one distance from all to improve its administrative and financial realities, creating real competition, and a significant league championship in order to build a national football team that is capable of competing at the highest level, Darjal added.
