CTS: There is no limited tasks in our operations

    The Counter-Terrorism Service identified its areas of interest in the capital, Baghdad, while indicating that it is focusing on the outskirts of the capital.

    CTS spokesman, Sabah al-Numan, stated to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the operations of the Counter-Terrorism Service continue to pursue ISIS terrorist remnants, and depend on accurate intelligence information, noting that these operations continue in the areas wherever the remnants of ISIS gangs are still located.

    al-Numan added, the spread of CTS in Baghdad came to secure the tripartite summit, and it was coordinated with other security forces, noting that the summit succeeded at all political and security levels, and it resonated well thanks to the courage of our security forces and their willingness to preserve the security file, and also to give a clear message to everyone about the stabilized security.

    He added, "There are no specific tasks for the work of CTS in Baghdad, but there are areas that are within its interest south of the capital and Radwaniyah district, stressing that the security situation inside the capital is stable and there are no terrorist threats threatening its security.
