Ministry of Migration and Displacement - MMD announced the return of 960 IDPs to their homelands in Mosul and Salah al-Din.
"A new group of IDPs, about (495), around (90) displaced families from Al-Jada'a fifth camp returned to their areas of origin in the center of Mosul, in addition to the return of (465), around (93) families from Al-Rafiat clan, from Samarra to their original areas in Sayed Gharib, Salah al-Din,” said the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
She explained that "the voluntarily return of the displaced families came after taking security check for them in coordination with the security forces and local governments, as they were delivered to their original areas of residence with all their belongings,"
