The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Sunday the adjudication of 77% of the cases presented in the first chapter of the current year, indicating that this included all Iraqi courts except Kurdistan region.
SJC stated to Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Public Relations and Legal Affairs, Department of Planning and Statistics revealed its report for the first chapter of 2021 for all the Iraqi courts, with the exception of the Kurdistan region, as the reports included the number of settled and completed cases, in addition to the number of registered marriage contracts.
the number of cases presented in all courts reached to 584,710 cases, of which 448,632 cases were resolved, with a settlement rate of 77%, the report revealed.
