The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced on Monday the arrest of 10 ISIS remnants in 4 provinces.
Rasoul said in a statement to the news agency (INA), that The Counter-Terrorism Service was able to arrest (10) members of the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs after conducting anti-terror raids in 4 provinces.
CTS started the operations in Kirkuk and Salah al-Din provinces, as two members of ISIS were arrested there, while their raids in al-Rutba desert, western Anbar province, resulted in the arrest of other (3) members of ISIS remnants, Rasoul added.
Rasoul also mentioned that based on the confessions extracted from the arrested terrorists, the CTS enabled to capture five terrorists in Baghdad and Anbar provinces.
