The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, prime minster Mustafa Al-Kazemi, ordered the security forces to tighten the security on borders with Syria.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General, Yahya Rasoul, tweeted that Al-Kadhimi directed to control the borders with Syria, equip the border strip with thermal cameras and energy devices, and strengthen military units, stressing on intensifying intelligence efforts and strengthening coordination between all the security and intelligence agencies.
