Minister of Finance: We look forward to build bridges of partnership with various countries

Minister of Finance Ali Allawi affirmed, today, Tuesday, the government's ambition to extend bridges of partnership with various countries.
 
Minister of Finance’ media office  stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Minister of Finance Ali Allawi met at the ministry's headquarters newly-appointed ambassador of the Russian Federation to Baghdad, Mr. Elbrus Kutrashev, Mr. Ilya Laput the Counselor of economic and commercial Affairs, as well as the accompanying delegation.

Allawi welcomed his Excellency the ambassador and praised the historical bilateral relations that bond the two countries, stressing on the importance to strengthen joint cooperation in various fields, especially the economic aspects.

For his part, Ambassador Kutrashev expressed his happiness with the new mission entrusted to him in Iraq, expressing at the same time his country's full support for Iraq in various fields.
