Al-Halbousi discusses with the Dutch ambassador the UNAMI role in monitoring the elections

Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed today, Monday, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Michel Rintenar, the role of the international community in monitoring elections. 

The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Al-Halbousi received Rintinar, today, and the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them. 

He added, "The meeting discussed early elections, creating the necessary environment for holding them and providing electoral security, as well as the role of the international community in monitoring the elections in order for the citizen to trust the results of the electoral process."
