The Supreme Judicial Council announced, today, Monday the formation of two committees specialized in the rules of procedure of the Federal Supreme Court.
A statement by the Judicial Council, that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) received, stated that "the Judicial Institute hosted a special workshop to discuss the draft of the new rules of procedure of the Federal Supreme Court."
The statement also added that, "The workshop included two groups, the first of which was a number of Federal Court members: Judge Ghaleb Amer Al-Gharibawi, Judge Haider Ali Nuri Al-Bazi, Judge Khalaf Ahmad Al-Jubouri, Judge Abdul Rahman Suleiman Zebari, in addition to Mazen Lilo Radi as a representative of the State Council and Faten Mohsen Hadi, Director General of the Judicial Institute), while the second group included a number of university professors specialized in constitutional law (Ali Hadi Al-Hilali, Ali Fawzi Al-Mousawi, College of Law / University of Baghdad, Amer Ayyash College of Law / Tikrit University, Maha Bahjat College of Law / University of Baghdad, Munjed Al-Hilu College of Law Al-Mustansiriya University, Mosaddeq Adel, College of Law, University of Baghdad.
The statement continued that, "One of the outcomes of the workshop was the formation of two committees, the first to draft the new rules of procedure for the court, and the second to specialize in consultation."
