A joint concert by the National Heritage Band with Naseer Shamma soon

The diversity of his music in its various stations, and his hard attempts to weave traditional art with modernity in order to succeed in infiltrating the tastes of young people, and to resound traditional songs in their new form throughout Europe, so he founded the band (Dijlah Birds), which presented 129 heritage songs, and also worked to establish the National Band for Iraqi Heritage, which He will be organizing a joint concert with Maestro Naseer Shamma soon.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) met him, and he told us, starting with his musical beginnings, saying: "The Institute of Music Studies has a great credit for me, as it is the foundation building for my musical and social personality." He added, "I graduated and worked as a teaching assistant at the institute, and after two years I became an assistant dean with Habib Dhaher Al-Abbas, where we led an important stage in the institute's history, from the early eighties to the end of the nineties."

He pointed out that "he added a new curriculum at the institute and (group playing), which is still adopted until now."

Jurisdiction

Maestro Alaa Majid singled out the flute, noting that "it's a stage and I've passed, and I played it in the (Young Voices) program, which I considered my beginning, in which I made a mark."

He explained that "leading the oriental oriental band is difficult and confusing, because it has branching maqams. If the maestro does not master them, he cannot lead the Arab band. It is one level, but it is overlapping, a ton - a single degree full of sense, expression and accurate performance. In the absence of a leader who understands its dimensions, the distinctive spirit of escapes feelings ."
