First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Ka'abi and Egyptian Ambassador Walid Ismail stressed the need to unify positions on crucial issues, while Al-Ka'abi called for the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
He added that the two sides stressed the need to unify effective positions at the governmental and parliamentary levels with regard to the crucial issues facing the region, especially the Palestinian issue.
He pointed to the importance of effective cooperation in the matter of giving the necessary facilities to students, residents and merchants.
In his turn, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his country's full support for the security, stability and well-being of Iraq and the consolidation of comprehensive cooperation between the two brotherly countries, considering that as a top priority for the Egyptian government and people.
