    Along the Tigris immortal river extends the Cairo neighborhood of Corniche , which is one of the most beautiful streets of the province, which connects the neighborhood of Cairo Awasha area to continue until Amarah bridge, where it was planted this green space includes palm trees, various fruits, oleander shrubs, yas, and other types of ornamental plants and flowers.

    The street passes between the two banks of the Tigris and the other bank in the Al Iskan neighborhood, Cairo neighborhood, Shabana neighborhood, and in front of government departments, including Maysan Investment, Oil Products Company, Kormick Hotel, Warriors Department, Maysan Electricity Department and other government buildings. 

    Corniche Street includes a number of landmarks that shed light on the history and heritage of the governorate, including the Maysan Heritage mural by the late artist Abdul Latif Madi, which is one of the most important artistic murals that include subjects representing the heritage of Maysan from the homes of Chinashil to the marshes, rivers and ancient alleys.

    As well as a monument to the late great Iraqi scientist Abdul-Jabbar Abdullah, who was built in appreciation of his outstanding scientific career, and there is also a wall of martyrs in the street, which is one of the most important murals that perpetuate the nation’s martyrs from the army and the crowd in the governorate.
