Al-Sudani Inaugurates the Cybersecurity Center

    The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, inaugurated on Thursday the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Interior.

    Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, inaugurated today, Thursday, the Cybersecurity Center affiliated with the Ministry of Interior.
     
    The statement read “Prime Minister Al-Sudani toured the center’s building, inspected its departments, and listened to briefings from the staff on its operations and significance at the national level.”
     
    It further said that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani reaffirmed the government’s support for implementing cybersecurity measures, highlighting its critical growing importance as a key component of security operations. He emphasized the need for security forces to keep pace with modern technological advancements and position Iraq as a leader in the field of cybersecurity.”
