The head of the Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, met today, Thursday, with a delegation from the Sairoun coalition headed by Hassan Al-Kaabi, and the two parties stressed the importance of the upcoming elections.
The media office of al-Abadi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Al-Abadi received in his office today the First Deputy Speaker, Hassan Al-Kaabi, and a number of deputies from the coalition going,” noting that “the meeting witnessed a discussion of the conditions and challenges the country is going through and the importance of unifying Efforts to cross it and provide services to the people. "
He added, "During the meeting, early elections were discussed, the requirements for conducting them were provided, and citizens were encouraged to go out to the elections and choose their representatives in the parliament."
According to the statement, the attendees emphasized that "the upcoming elections are pivotal for the stability of the country and the crossing of the crises it is going through, and there is importance for cooperation and integration between the executive and legislative authorities to provide everything that serves citizens in all fields."
