National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji and the Ambassador of the European Union Mission in Iraq Martin Hutt discussed today, Thursday, the national dialogue and the importance of working to activate it.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received today in his office the Ambassador of the European Union Mission in Iraq, Martin Hutt," indicating that "during the meeting, the work of the European Union mission in Iraq and the continuation of joint cooperation between Iraq and the mission regarding the humanitarian support provided to Iraq. "
He added that "the issue of the national dialogue was discussed and the importance of working to activate it, as it represents a real opportunity to restore confidence among all, and the importance of completing the return of all displaced persons was discussed."
According to the statement, Al-Araji stressed that "the Iraqi government is looking forward to strengthening its relations with the European Union in all fields," noting that "Iraq needs the support of friendly and peace-loving countries, in order to enhance its security and stability, in order to bring more stability to the region."
