Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed today, Sunday, the government's keenness and seriousness in developing the oil industries, while stressing the reduction of dependence on importing fuel products.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi laid, today, Sunday, the foundation stone for the fourth gasoline improvement units (CCR) and naphtha hydrogenation (NHT) units in Basra Governorate, as part of the work Southern Projects Authority in the Oil Projects Company of the Ministry of Oil.
Al-Kadhimi stressed, "the government's keenness and seriousness in developing the oil industries in Iraq, as it is one of the important pillars of the Iraqi economy and its development, as well as its contribution to increasing financial revenues and reducing dependence on importing fuel products to reach the stage of self-sufficiency."
