The normalization body of the Iraqi Football Association approached contracting with foreign technical directors to benefit from their experiences to develop the reality of Iraqi football.
The head of the technical committee in the normalization body, Shamil Kamel, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday, that "the committee has gone a long way to agree with technical experts, and approval was obtained to negotiate with the Dutch coach Marcelo who works at the Aspire Academy," adding that " "The English coach, John White, who worked in the AFC and is currently working in the East Asian Football Associations, was approached."
Kamel stated that "the committee is studying the issue carefully to contract with the two coaches together in the event that an appropriate agreement is reached for the value of the contracts, so that one of them will be the technical expert of the Federation, and the second will work as an expert for the project of Talented Schools after obtaining approval from the Ministry of Youth and Sports."
