Basra - INA
The governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, announced today, Thursday, that the file of foreign workers in the oil companies in the province is linked to three ministries, while indicating that the local government is not satisfied with the governorate's share in the budget.
Al-Eidani told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Most of our local companies include pure visual workers," indicating that "foreign workers are present in the oil companies, as this file is subject to the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs."
Al-Eidani added that "the introduction of foreign workers will be from the federal government and not from the local ones," indicating that "we agreed with the Ministry of Oil not to bring foreign workers to work in unregistered oil companies."
