Al-Halboosi orders Human Rights Committee to visit KRG protests

Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halboosi, asserted the protection of human rights and the demonstrators.

"Human rights must be safeguarded and the protesters must be protected," Al-Halboosi said during the parliament session, according to a statement from his office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

Al-Halboosi directed the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee to visit the areas of demonstrations in KRG.
