Government spokesman Ahmed Mulla Talal confirmed today, Tuesday, that the withdrawal or closure of any diplomatic mission for any country will have disastrous repercussions on the entire region, while indicating that the government has taken numerous measures to secure diplomatic missions.
Mulla Talal said during the weekly press conference of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhmi confirmed the refusal of Iraq and its government to turn the country into a battleground between America and Iran,” indicating that “Al- Kadhmi confirmed that Washington and Iran support this Iraqi position. ".
He pointed out that "the withdrawal or closure of any diplomatic mission for any country will have disastrous repercussions on the entire region."
He added, "Al- Kadhmi emphasized that the decision of war and peace is the exclusive jurisdiction of the Iraqi constitutional institutions, and that the coalition forces came at the request of previous Iraqi governments, and there is no occupation in the country now."
He continued, "Al- Kadhmi informed the ministers about the government's efforts for the security of diplomatic missions, stressing that the government has taken numerous measures to secure diplomatic missions."
