The Minister of Health and Environment, the head of the crisis cell, Jaafar Allawi, expected the victory over the Corona virus in the coming weeks, while linking the easing of the ban measures to the decline of infections.
Allawi said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The crisis cell monitors the health situation in Iraq and in the event of a change in the number of injuries will be forced to tighten the procedures."
He added that "the committee has taken good measures that have proven successful," stressing that "the number of the cases that infected with coronavirus in the country are few compared to the rest of the countries."
Allawi expected the virus to subside in the next few weeks, which would ease the restrictions imposed in the curfew, pointing out that "Iraq will defeat Corona in the summer."
