Today, Monday, Interior Minister Yasin Taher Al-Yasiri discussed with a European official the exchange of security experiences.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the Iraqi News Agency received a copy of it, that "Al-Yasiri discussed in his office with the commander of the civil operations of the European Union and the head of the European Union missions around the world" Vincenzo Coppola "and head of the European Union advisory mission," Benny Jensen "in his office."
The statement added that "Al-Yasiri stressed the importance of developing joint cooperation and exchanging security experiences."
For his part, the head of the European Union missions around the world expressed his happiness for the meeting with the Minister of the Interior, announcing that the European Union advisory mission in Iraq will resume its full consultative capacity, including setting up a new plan to increase the support provided to the Ministry of Interior in all fields and develop its capabilities.
