The Iraqi Travel and Tourism Companies Association announced on Tuesday its participation in the 44th edition of the World Travel Market Exhibition in London which will be held from 5 to 7 of this November.
The Iraqi Travel and Tourism Companies Association participated in the World Travel Market Exhibition under the supervision, presence and participation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Iraqi Tourism Authority and several travel and tourism companies from various Iraqi governorates. An official pavilion was allocated to represent the Republic of Iraq in the World Travel Market WTM Exhibition in London in its 44th edition, which will be held from 5 to 7 of this November," stated the association in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The head of the association, Haider Amer Al-Dajili, said that "the active participation of Iraqi companies in the London Exhibition for the World Travel Market will contribute to achieving the goals and future vision of Iraq and enhance the role of the Iraqi private sector in the tourism sector by shedding light on the most important archaeological landmarks and the civilization of the Mesopotamia."
"The participation aimed to highlight Iraq's role in this important sector, and to work on increasing the number of Iraqi travel and tourism companies in international exhibitions in the future," he noted.
