The Prime Minister directed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi, today, Tuesday, to open an investigation into the targeting of the American embassy.
A spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the American embassy with three missiles," usually "targeting the embassy is a crime against which a diplomatic mission is exposed to Iraq."
Khalaf pointed out that "Abdul-Mahdi directed the Baghdad Operations Command and related parties to the immediate investigation of the incident and the prosecution of the perpetrators.The Security Media Cell had announced the fall of three Katyusha rockets in central Baghdad.
