The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee intend to send a request to the Iraqi government to file a complaint with the UN Security Council about the American aggression against Iraqi sovereignty.
Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee Faleh Al Khazali told the Iraqi News Agency today, Sunday, that the committee prepared several topics for discussion in the parliament session today, including the draft law of the agreement with a strategic framework, as well as obliging the government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to file a complaint submitted to the Council International security towards America targeting Iraqi territories, noting that the presence of American bases in Iraq is an occupation with illegal cover in addition to that it is a source of concern to neighboring countries.
Khazali said that the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee does not oppose the existence of joint agreements in the commercial, economic and cultural aspects, noting that the security agreement stipulates that the American forces will not interfere in internal affairs, but only concerned with training and equipping the Iraqi forces.
