The General Company for Iraqi Ports announced that 3 berths in the northern Umm Qasr Port will enter service soon.The company’s general manager, Safaa Abdel Hussein, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that the company has achieved an advanced completion rate in three berths in the northern Umm Qasr port.
He clarified that the coming months will witness the entry of these three berths into service, which constitute the turnaround basin for their geographical location in the port, a typical location for the work of the berths in the docking, handling and turnover works.
