INA - Baghdad Iraqi PM Haider Abadi ordered the security forces ‘not to use live gunshots" against the protestors. “Our responses to the demands are not a point of weakness rather it indicates strength,” PM Abadi stated during a security meeting. Abadi explained that the Iraqis do not accept chaos nor any trespass against security forces and public or private properties. “Those who cause any damage and destruction take advantage of Iraqis demands to make chaos” He also asserted that the rightful and peaceful demonstrations are accepted as “we respond to it immediately”. “Yet, to permit any destruction, trespass, blocking roads, burning tires and attacking the security forces is considered as an attempt to sent back the country to a previous situation where organized crime is ready to start a chaos,” Abadi added.
