The final report of the high investigation committee that were formed around the protests events is released, Iraqi Media Network reported on Tuesday.
The committee was formed by the Commander in Chief of Iraqi Army PM Adel Abdul Mahdi.
The sacrifices given were as the total of 1287 injuries and 8 killed from security forces and 4207 injuries and 149 killed from the citizens.
The numbers were taken from the Ministry of Health Ops were some of the security forces conditions were not registered due to moving them to the field medical units.
The report also included that there was an excessive use of power and weapons that resulted in shooting fire on the protesters. Some of the leaders and commanders were lacking control which led to chaos and not controlling the fire shooting.
Some uncontrolled protesters burned public possessions and parties’ headquarters that the security men of these places had to open fire.
